My name is Brenda and I am 60 years old. My titles are wife to Bill, mother to Tonya and Bobby, mother-in-law to Jack and Megan and Mawmaw to Gianni and Will. My love has always been quilting, but lately I have wanted to experiment and have a journey of (I won't say artistic) exploring the world of mixed media. Quilting and UFO's

This quilt (wall-hanging) is one that I started before 2000. It is a Thimbleberries design. Marie Henry had a shop in Little Rock called Stitches and she gave some awesome classes. This quilt was one of them and I really want to finish it. All that is left is two brick borders and the binding. The quilt will just not "leave" me alone.

Maybe if I do something on it everyday the progress will encourage me to keep going and get other things done. Inertia is not a virtue.
